General Description: This bustling hotel- right in the centre of nottingham- has three chic conference rooms- a traditional french brasserie-an up market cocktail bar and an english gastro-pub all under one roof.lace market hotel comprises four restored georgian and victorian townhouses- surrounded by the rich architectural heritage of the former lace making district- sympathetically converted and retaining some interesting original features.*** please note that on christmas eve -24th december- the last table in the restaurant is at 9.15 pm and our gastro pub bar will be open until 10pm. the hotel is closed on christmas day -25th december- at 10am. guests will therefore need to check out prior to this time. full breakfast is included in the rate and is available via room service between 8am and 9.30am.our restaurants will not be open from 01st to 06th january 2006 for hot breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst kitchen refurbishment takes place. room service cold continental will however be available together with a limited room service offering of fresh made sandwiches throughout the day. our gastro pub bar will be open as normal and we are surrounded by an excellent choice of restaurants and bars. *** Lace Market Hotel is a historic boutique hotel in the centre of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. There are plenty of things to do and see within Nottingham, the Galleries of Justice and City of Caves to name a few. Nottingham Race Course is nearby as is Trent Bridge, a historic cricket ground and bars, clubs, restaurants for all tastes. Lace Market Hotel offers among its facilities a British brasserie and several meeting rooms. Double rooms have 5 width beds and are comfortable for longer stays. Superior Rooms also have king size beds and are extremely spacious - with dressing areas, large writing desks and views of the floodlit Georgian facade of the Galleries of Justice. These rooms also have large feature bathrooms with double basins, bidet, freestanding bathtub and walk-in showers. Finally, the Studios are split level, with wrap around views of the Lace Market. All bedrooms are non smoking. Merchants is a hearty British brasserie. No-nonsense, wholesome cooking using only the finest ingredients and drawing inspiration from the bustling, unpretentious salons so common in capital cities. Founded on the profound belief in relaxed service sophisticated surroundings and passion for great wines. From all directions, follow signs for Nottingham city centre and then the brown tourist nformation signs marked GALLERIES OF JUSTICE and ST MARYS CHURCH. The hotel is situated immediately opposite the Galleries of Justice.Lace Market Hotel is situated betwixt two good car parks - Stoney Street NCP and Fletcher Gate (council run). Both are signposted as you approach the hotel. The cheapest option for a 24 hour stay is Stoney Street NCP where guests can benefit from a discounted rate of £7 per day. If this deal is for you, make sure you take a ticket from the barrier, dont put your credit card in the machine. Keep this ticket secure and present it to us on departure for validation to ensure you get your discount. Alternatively, Fletcher Gate car park charges by the hour and has a special 6pm to 9am overnight rate of £2.20. Both car parks have 24 hour security.
