General Description: The former Pazo de Baz?n country house, an ancestral mansion on which construction begain in the 17th c., is located in the green l andscape of the R?as Baixas. The Parador is located in the centre of the small town of Cambados, a short distance from the Isla de la Toxa, and has an attractive inner courtyard with arcades, foun tain and slender palmtrees. It has pleasant, bright bedrooms with comf ortable furniture, as well as a garden and a tempting swimming pool. T he restaurant offers local products such as empanada de berbere chos (cockle pie), lenguado al Albarino (sole prepared in Albari?o wine) and shellfish. The former, Pazo de Bazn, was an ancestral mansion built in the 17th Century; it is located on the green landscapes of the Ras Baixas, on the Ra de Arousa. The Gallegan coast is dotted with leafy pine trees, beaches and numerous country houses.The Parador is in the centre of the small village of Cambados, only a short distance from the Isla de la Toxa. It has a pretty interior courtyard with and outstanding arcade and fountain, as well as a slender palm tree.It also has pleasant and light bedrooms with accommodating furniture. The other rooms feature stone columns, wooden ceilings and beams, as well as the gardens and an inviting swimming pool.The restaurant serves local ingredients such as the breaded cockles, sole cooked in Albario wine and seafood. The Parador is situated in the centre of Cambados on the sea front. Cambados is 55 km. from Vigo, 65 km. from Santiago and 10 km. from Vilagarca de Arousa.The port is a good way to get there. To travel by car you take the C-550 from Pontevedra and the Autopista A-9 turning off towards Cambados on the fast Salns road.
