General Description: This Parador is in a majestic castle, with construction commencing in the year 1437. It was the former residence of the Dukes of Feria. Nine battlement towersguard the regal, grandiose interior which conserves beautiful coffered ceilings, large chests, ironwork, handrails and several other decorative details which belonged to the form er palace. The bedrooms which in the past had Hernan Cortes as a gu est, are elegant and spacious while the swimming pool and well cared f or garden adorn the exterior. All the rooms have a private bathroo m and also telephone, television, safe and mini bar. The Parador is a irconditioned and offers a restaurant and a bar. Facilities are availa ble to holdbusiness meetings. Motorway from Madrid until 5 km. before arriving at Zafra.
