An imposing boutique Victorian villa, we are proud to be one of only three Torquay establishments to have received a five star guest accommodation rating, (guest accommodation is not the same criteria as hotel rating which is based on facilities). A detached 1850 villa, we are situated in the beautiful quiet conservation area of Torquay, minutes on foot to the blue flag Meadfoot beach and its wonderful coastal walks, yet only a ten minute stroll into Torquays bustling harbour and town centre. We provide sumptuous comfortable surroundings with a sense of occasion in a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere with strong emphasis on personal yet unintrusive customer service. Our bedrooms are appointed to a high standard with all of them refurbished in 20062007. The majority also benefit from brand new luxury ensuites. In summer our guests enjoy the heated swimming pool and a piping hot open-air spa, in the winter you may choose to relax in our cosy bar. For business travellers we have wireless internet access, fax facilities and can offer an early breakfast (continental from 0730 hours).NON SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT THROUGHOUT Coming from Exeter, follow the A380 towards Torquay. At the junction of A3022 follow the signs for the Sea Front. When you reach the Sea Front make a left turn onto Torbay Road. Follow Torbay Road to the second roundabout. (this is just past Debenhams) and make a left at this roundabout onto Babbacombe Road. Make a right turn at the next traffic light onto Meadfoot Road. Meadfoot Road becomes Meadfoot Sea Road. Our hotel is on the right hand side just 3 minutes up the road. Just look for the black and gold sign.
