Being a traditional timber framed black and white building YE Olde Kings Head retains the character of old Chester. Some of the many features of this historic building are the Elizabethan fireplaces and a particular timber beam taken from one of Admiral Lord Nelsons ships that sank off the coast of Blackpool.The Inn offers bead and breakfast with each room as well as a traditional pub food menu with weekend roast dinners.Scenic walks are easily reached from the establishment, with the River Dee being 5 minutes walk. Also, the Roman walls that surround the ancient city are 2 minutes away and encircle the town for two miles. Ye Olde Kings Head is located within the Roman City Walls in the heart of the city.
